About Zetun
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO): The highest quality, made by cold-pressing olives without chemicals or heat. It has low acidity (below 0.8%) and retains more of the olive’s natural flavors, antioxidants, and vitamins.
Virgin Olive Oil: Also cold-pressed but with slightly higher acidity (up to 2%). It’s good for cooking and has a decent flavor, though not as refined as EVOO.
Refined Olive Oil: Olive oil that’s been treated with chemicals and heat to neutralize flavor and acidity. It has a neutral taste and lacks many of the health benefits found in extra virgin varieties.
Olive Pomace Oil: Made from the leftover olive pulp after the initial press. It undergoes heavy processing and is considered the lowest quality.
Refined Olive Oil: Neutral in taste, made from lower quality olives that are processed to remove flaws.
